& I'm back.

Something is so mysterious about red lipstick. It can lure all the eyes in a room just by entering. The woman in the red lipstick has sexual power, independence, braveness and guts to put it on.
Moreover she has the ability to use the right red shade to her skin. Not everybody uses the perfect matching colour, and there's possibilty that it goes wrong.

Once I've bought a real dark red colour lipstick and by putting on I also put on some 10+ years and it wasn't matching me at all. The other time I put bright pink on, which normaly suits me, because I'm blonde - but wasn't aware of that I changed my hair colour to red, so bright pink lips were not right.

Everybody has different kind of skin shades, hair colour and style.
There's a nice way to get to know which colours suit you the best: figuring out whether you have winter, spring, summer or autumn type of skin. Here or here you can find it out!

Outfit post.

I really like feminine aesthetics, wearing red lipstick, flowers or jewelry. Red colour is one of my favs, although I'm natural dark blonde and it doesn't go so well together, only the b*tchin' bright red.
It is very important to choose the right red. Here's a good how to.

(I'm using these photos just for examples and I don't own these photos, if you want me to take them off - you are on it or took it and don't want them here, or would like me to link them to you, please write an email to: anchante.cat@gmail.com. Thank you for your understanding.)

Revival of an old blog

After nearly two years of silence and being lost, I'm returning to my blog. Meanwhile I had a tumblr blog as well, posting mostly about things I find nice. I stopped being active there a month or so ago. It did not give me any new ideas. The main reason I'm reviving this is blog that I have to stop judging myself and find my true path.

I would like to live the way I find it the best and the most beautiful. That's why from now on there will be no compromises to my style and the way I look like or what I do. I'm not going to care about the people who tell me to blend in. I do not want to. I cannot. I feel myself the best when I wear black. Sometimes with something white. Simple, elegant, stylish, feminine. And sometimes with something dotted and/or red.

I am half way between an oldschool goth and psychobilly-girl. Accept it or get lost.

Follow me into my world, if you like it. All my posts are going to be related to the above mentioned youth cultures.

Bests,

Back to decadence

I came across the work of Greg Harris', at the Runwayward site, he took pics of Paul Boche.
He captured the core essence of decadence of early ages (18th Century) and revised in a modern context. The young, libertine count (so to say, just imagine) is bored and gave up all hopes and dreams, just sits around and awaits for the servants to come (and do sg with his messy hair). Is he still alive or already dead, awaiting for resurrection or hell or whatever?
The result is a perfect display of today's androgyny fashion.

I still haven't decided yet whether I like it or not.
Maybe so.

MAC MAKE-UP

I've just found on the net MAC's new collection "Semi-Precious". The release going to be in the beginning of July.

They say:
"We can all admire a girl with a 30-carat diamond. But the new dazzle is Semi-Precious. Gems that are rare in spirit, rich in substance and worn fluidly, on the skin. In MAC Semi-Precious, four finely milled gems – bronzite, black tourmaline, gold pyriate, and lilac lepidolite – bring their own earthy an spiritual affluence to three key elements of the mineralize collection: eyeshadows, skinfinish, and blush. Setting them off: a collection of colour, two mineralize skincare formulas, and four new limited-life split fibre brushes. Like everything this precious, these elements start off rare, and tend to get rarer… get rich while you can!"

The pics are from mashkulture's juicy site.

WEEKLY WTF.

Lately I have been on the net a lot and it just came to me: if there's a 'What am I wearing now?' label on twitter (#TodayImWearing) there must be a 'What's in your bag?' photo stream somewhere! And there is. There's a group on flickr, The What's in you bag? pool and tons of people have already uploaded their stuff.
I think it's somehow wicked cool and sweet sick to look into others life, and I enjoy it very much! Hope you too... So anyway, dudes, here's my collection without my flatkeys, sorry I left them out!

So what's in my bag?

From the upper left corner:
1. Mango sunglasses
2. H&M gothic make-up kit (containing mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, hair gums, "those days" stuff etc)
3. Moleskine daily planner
4. LOTR 1st book in English under notebook for work
5. small blue card holder
6. my very favourite comics patterned purse (from the New Yorker)
7. henkerthieves.
8. small Mexx parfume
9. H&M small flower patterned mobile holder
10. 2 mobile phones, for leisure and work
11. felted pen/cil case
12. H&M black laced gothic umbrella

My bag is from Mango as well, here it is:
Sweet.
